General information about Marmaris:

Kvaløy Nettverk’s office in Marmaris occupies a two-storied house in Değirmenyanı quarter along the Datça road. Designed to provide language services to tourism agencies, hotels and conference organizers around Turkey's Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, the Marmaris office will also support Kvaløy Nettverk's operations in Greece and Eastern European countries.

Set against a backdrop of pine-clad hills, on the Mediterranean coast in the Mugla province of southwest Turkey, Marmaris is a port city and major tourist destination, which provides its main source of income. While little is now left of the sleepy fishing village that was Marmaris just a few decades ago, thanks to the exceptional natural beauty of its locations, Mamaris still retains its charm, despite the construction boom of the 1980s. The population of around 18,000 people is estimated to reach 300,000-400,000 during the high season. With its two major and several smaller marinas, Mamaris is also a major sailing and yachting center.
